A police officer was suspended for masturbating in front of a woman complainant in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria. Bhishm Pal Singh, SHO Bhatni police station, kept repeating his act until the woman complainant decided to put an end to this by recording a video of the same.

- The woman complainant, who visited the police station with her daughter, was repeatedly subjected to this misbehaviour. She was fed up of the police officer touching his private parts in front of her. Hence, she decided to record a video which has now gone viral.
- “An FIR has been registered against him and he has been suspended. Action is being taken”, said SP Deoria.
- “This isn’t the first time that the woman has been subjected to this misbehaviour. She has been visiting the police station quite frequently, to lodge a complaint about a land dispute”, sources confirmed.
- “I ignored his misbehaviour for the first 2-3 times and wanted him to lodge our case in the land dispute. But then a woman relative said that she also faced a similar incident at the hands of this officer. This was when I decided to film him”, said the complainant woman.
- The errant police officer was earlier suspended from Salempur Kotwali police station.
